The london Wallpapers collection has been inspired by eight historic papers from the English Heritage archive.
Dating from 1760 to 1890, the papers were originally manufactured in London to decorate smart city and country homes. Their remains have been preserved within the archives of English Heritage in a variety of forms, ranging from complete drops to tiny fragments, with some papers more than twenty layers thick.
Little Greene's aim is to bring these archive designs to life, reinterpreting them in a way that makes them suitable for use in the 21st Century.
