Autumn 2009's collections take inspiration from a variety of influential, European artistic and architectural sources; from 19th century French hand blocked wallpapers to Palladian plasterwork and decorative neoclassical architecture, from the creative and dynamic textiles produced by Josef Hoffman’s Vienna workshop to Rococo and Baroque influences. The result is an eclectic and dramatic collection of designs with a broad appeal from the more tailored and masculine to the decorative and fabulous.
The new colour palette ranges from the dramatic and fantastic with moss, sage green, chartreuse, magenta, raven and mimosa to softer, vintage shades of delft, travertine, sage and heather, cool and sophisticated neutral shades such as moonstone, cappuccino and almond and classic black and white.
All in all Designers Guild hae created a striking collection of beautiful and decorative non woven wallpapers, featuring botanical and geometric designs on lustrous metallic or mica grounds.
